Need help for overtime calculator Worksheet

Yes I'm new to Excel and dealing with time calculations is killing me!

Here's what I'm trying to do:

    Column A Date
Column B Time arrived at work
Column C Time Left from work
Column D Total time at work (I figured this part out C-B <formatted correctly>)
Column E Total overtime for the day

Problem: Column E should be if D>8 then E=D-8 hours. How do I do this!!!!

Please help and thank in advance!

Re: Need help for overtime calculator Worksheet

    =(d-8)*(d>8)

    none overtime

    =mod(d,8)
