    looking up multiple criteria for return

    i have a file (attached) with a price for zone and weight. I want to look up the zone, look up thge weight and return the correct price. Can anyone help?

    Just use VLOOKUP and MATCH to establish the column...note given A is text and row 2 are numerics you must coerce the criteria to integer before trying to Match the value or adjust the header values in your table to reflect text approach of column A.

    C14: =VLOOKUP($B14,$A$3:$K$7,MATCH(0+$A14,$A$2:$K$2,0),0)
    copy down as required

    how can i get it to copy down keeping the same ranges? i am having a problem with this and my actual spreadsheet is 2000 lines

    I have no idea what you're using or what your data range is so it's pretty hard to comment... in the example the lookup range is kept absolute ... the only values that would adjust as copied down would be the criteria value (B) and the column identifier (A).

    I would suggest you have a read of XL Help on absolute / relative referencing.

    thanks so much for your help .... my copy down problem was just because i didnt lock the ranges $A$2:$K$2 instead of A2:K2

    thanks for the formula ... it works perfect!
