    Time duration

    Hi All

I been trying to get the result cell to show a time duration in hours and minutes. For example if I know that I rode my bike 50 miles and the average speed was 20 MPH It would have taken me 150 minutes but I want to show this as 2 hours 30 minutes as 1.30. the formula I am using at the moment is really simple =(A2/A1)*60. I have also tired to format the cells to HH:MM and [HH]:mm but no luck.

If A1 contains distance and B1 contains speed in mi/hr, then =A1/B1/24 is the time (in days). Format as [h]:mm to see 2:30.
