First 10 items I charge $10 for. The next 40 I charge $8 for, the next 50 I charge $6 for, and then $5 for every unit above that.
For instance, putting 55 units in cell A1 should calculate:
10 * 10 = 100 +
40 * 8 = 320 +
5 * 6 = 30
Total = 450
I designed this array hoping that it would do it, but it's going off the scale.
Ugh.

The last array should show the price differential between each band and the next, i.e. in your case {10,-2,-2,-1). See John McGimpsey's examples here
