IF Parameters

I'm trying this formula now but can't suss it out

if value is between 3 to 5 = 8

I know this is probably basic but any help would be appreciated, cheers

whole formula i'm trying is

from 3 to 5 = 8
from 6 to 10 = 9
11+ =10
