Vlookup Table Array

When searching through a range of cells can I identify a range of cells from another workbook (file) in the Table Array? If so, how?

With VLOOKUP you can reference table arrays in other workbooks. For example:

=VLOOKUP(A1,'C:\My Documents\08files\[sept08_file.xls]Sheet2'!$A$2:$C$20,3,0)
