How to get show information if a certain name was selected?

I have a drop down list and I would like to have some test automaticall come up in another sell depending on what is selected.

    For example:

If I select a persons name, their Employee number will automatically come up in another box.

I have 2 columns, there is exactly as many names as ID Numbers and they match up, I guess if I select Jim, I want his number 1234 to show up in another cell

    Thanks for any help.

Use a vlookup function to get the corresponding Number for selected Name
