    IF function problem

    Hi,

Will try to explain as clear as I can.

I need to enter 25% into a cell (say cell A1).

Then I need cell B1 to recognise this (IF function ?) and display as 0.75.

This is because cell C2 is to divide cell C1 by B1.

Thing is, how do I get B1 to recognise the % change in A1 - i.e if A1 is 15%, then B1 needs to be 0.85. If A1 is 10%, B1 needs to be 0.10 and so on.

    Thanks.

    You mean, in B1:

    =1-A1
Where there is a will there are many ways.
