Data consolidation

i am asking how to consolidate data saved on many excel sheets in one sheet without opening them.

these sheets are prepared on a daily basis and at the end of each month i am required to make an analysis for the monthly transactions so i have to gather the data on one sheet then make a pivot table to analyise the data as needed & i do tha by opening all sheets and start to copy the date from each to be posted on one sheet thus i want to get the required data without opening the sheets.
