Formula Referencing another cell

I want to be able to take a formula I have in one cell and perform the calculation in another cell

Example: Cell a1 contents 1/100 no = sign

in cell a2 i would like to be able to have the formula calculated using = sign

This way if i change cell a1 cell a2 result is automatically changed

Does that make sense?

Thought i would share with anyone interested since i had no replys with answers.

you name and define the cell "result", then you can use the "=result"
