copy then right click, paste special, paste value
alternatively click into the formulas ribbon (at the top) then in calculation options click manual....
depends what your trying to do really
Thanks rossg, but it doesn't work. I actually need to disable vlookup , lookup and other formulas like these formulas for a file permanently . I need this very urgently .
there are many formula's that work this way...disabling all of them is not a 2 minute fix...

-Add a File - click advanced (next to quick post), scroll to manage attachments, click, select add files, click select files, select file, click upload, when file shows up at bottom left, click done (bottom right), click submit
-To mark thread Solved- go top of thread,click Thread Tools,click Mark as Solved

if this is a security issue, rename the workbook(s) and protect the workbooks with passwords....other than that, I am not sure what else you can do![]()
Thanks dredwolf, in this way other file can't link my file , but I want to disable formulas in my files.
Suppose , my file is test.xls/test.xlsx , I want to disable these formulas for test.xls/test.xlsx.
Is there any way?
I cannot think of any way to disable specific formulas in Excel, after all, that is what the Program is all about...there may be a way to do it, but I have never heard about or seen it done, sorry![]()
