Why does #DIV/O appear? Retyping the figures makes it disappear!!

Hi All

Does anyone know why i'm getting #DIV/O when i use STDEV for three values, but if i manually retype over the figures it gives me the result??
The formula works for all of my worksheet except for 20 rows where the only way to avoid #div/o is to retype the value!
I have tried formatting the cells etc - they are the same as the rest of the worksheet but for some reason the formula just wont work unless i retype - any ideas?????
