Sort & Count Records?

Hi There

I have a problem in excel sheet

in column A i have data like
Mumbai
Delhi
Puna

and in column B data is like
1
2
3


for eg. in column A the data Mumbai is 10 record Delhi 10 record and Puna is 10 record
and B column in front of some data is 1 , some is 2 and some c

now what i want is to sort column A and i should get how Many in coulm A should count
5 record of Mumbai is 1
3 record of mumbai is 2
2 record of Mumbai is 3
