    changing dates on separate worksheets

I'm doing a grading record for school. I have 36 worksheets in my workbook. I would like to make it where I do not have to add the date into each worksheet. Is this possible? The dates have to be 7 days/

    Thanks in advance.

    hi crenloe

if the cells that your want are going to be the same in every worksheet, then hold down shift and click on every worksheet tab at the bottom, this will join the worksheets together and by adding data to sheet 1 it will populate every sheet with the same data in the same cells, then to remove this function right mouse click on any tab and select "ungroup sheets", then each sheet will be individual again.

    hope it helps

Thanks reg, but the cells are suppose to change by 7 days in every worksheet. Worksheet 1 will have a date of 9/1/2008, worksheet 2 9/8/2008, worksheet 3 9/15/2008, and so on. The worksheets are identical and the date will be located in D3.

I can change them individually, but a formula would sure be nice.
