Create statement from cells in workbook

    Hi

I am wondering if it's possible to create a statement from cells in a workbook perhaps by using the hyperlink option or if there is any other alternative way.

In brief, the statement should recognise what has been inserted into each cell in the row and then generate a statement.

I hope this is clear. See attached a copy of the excel sheet from which I would like to create the statement.

Any assisitance would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards

You can link individual cells to MS Word and create your statement that way or write up a statement in a separate worksheet with links to those cells. You're not clear as to what you want this statement to say or how complex it will be.

    Hi Chemist

    Thanks for your immediate response.

I would like the statement to automatically recognise what has been inserted in the cells for that specific row and lay it out on the word or excel document, is this possible?

    regards

Sorry if i'm not to clear, the statement can be brief but it would be better if I would be able to change the complexity of the statement.

In the attached Word Doc (and Excel File) I created three links (in WORD, Paste Special > As Link > Unformatted text); the name (cell A2), the rent (D2) and the Letting Fee (E2) so you can get a feel for how it would work. You should research Mail merge if you plan on doing multiple statements. I have never done that but perhaps other on this board might be able to help.

    Thanks Chemist, that would work.

Is there any way I would be able to retrieve the word document by clicking somewhere on the excel sheet and it would automatically insert those three fields?
