    Question Making multipule changes

    Hi all,

I have a folder containing approx 100 worksheets all of which have a database of electrical items saved in them. What i need to know is if i want to make the same change to all of the database's is there a quick way of doing this apposed to entering all 100 worksheets and editing them manually? I've attached a file with a couple of worksheets in just as an example......

    Thanks in advance all

Open the original file along with other files.
select the range where you want to place you data in other files then press = in A1 of other file and using your mouse Restore the original file and click on cell A1 and then hit Ctrl+Enter. (All cells in other file will be referred to the corresponsing cells of original file).

By the way why do you want to have same data on multiple workbooks?

OK that would work but it would be just as quick to input the data if its only 1 cell's worth. What if there were 5, 10 or even 15 different cell's worth of info to input????

(In answer to your question; In my actual worksheets i have several other tabs with different information but they all use the same database)

If you have data suppose in range A1:G50 in one sheet and you want to link it to other sheet (or workbook), in other workbook select the same range i-e A1:G50 and press = and point your mouse to cell A1 of first sheet (where the original data is) then press CTRL+ENTER.
All cells of second sheet will be linked to original sheet.

    Hope this helps.
