Locked Cells

How do I locked entirely function automatic cell sheets for protection and leave unlock some cells open for the manual to enter?

To lock or unlock cells you use the format cell, protection tab in 2003
if using 2007, on the home tab click the little box in the lower corner of the number group. This will bring up the format cell dialog box . Click the protection tab. after the cells you want to allow edits in are unlocked protect the sheet.
