    Sheet copying problem

    Hi ya!

I've just found this excel-lent (ha!) forum and am glad to be here!

I'm having a bit of a problem with one of my excel worksheets. (I have many Excel sheets that allow me to copy sheet/tabs.)...but I have one file that only has one sheet and won't allow me to copy any more. (I've also checked to make sure that there aren't any hidden sheets and there aren't any.)

I hold down the ctrl key and move/copy over with the mouse.....and it 'APPEARS' as if it is copying......but, nothing happens.

Does anyone know if I have some property set up on the file (hidden), or why else this would happen?

    Thanks for any insight,

    Chris

    Hi,

Welcome to the forum, are you saying that you have one workbook with one worksheet in it and you want to copy that worksheet?

If so, then click the tab, hold mouse button down and hold the Ctrl key and drag the tab to the right, then release mouse button, now release the Ctrl key. You should now have a copy of Sheet1.
