    COUNT func (Ignore formulas)

    Morning All,

I am using the formula =F9/(COUNT(B5:B35,">0")) to determine a daily burn rate for labor. Cell F9 contains our labor wages to date. The range B5:B35 contains the daily wage totals which are linked to cells in other sheets in the workbook (EX.. ='3rd'!B3) The current formula is counting all the cells in the range B5:B35 which is returning an incorrect burn rate. I would like to have the COUNT ignore the cells unless there is an actual dollar amount for the day in the range. If needed I can repost and attach the spreadsheet. Any Ideas??

    Got it myself (THANKS)

    Morning all,

Figured it out. Looks like it was a simple change to using COUNTIF instead of COUNT

    Thanks
    Until next time....
