    Probably Sumproduct will do

    =Sumproduct(--(aaa=1),--(bbb<=DATE(2004,10,29)),--(bbb>=DATE(2004,9,25)),ccc)

    I tried it and it gave me #NUM!.Is there anything in my data formatting that would cause this problem?

    The ranges cannot be whole columns, eg. A:A if you are not in XL2007
