Copying Sheets and updating ranges

I have a sheet in Excel 2003 that I have Identified ranges in some formulas and want to copy this sheet and update the ranges accorddingly. I remember the last time I did this Excel prompted me with the option to update and create new ranges with this new sheet, as I did this about a year ago. But when I do it now I have no such prompting. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Is Excel 2000 that much different from Excell 2003 that would cause it not to prompt for updates to range formulas as it did in the 2000 version? I really don't want to have to go through and manually update all of the ranges if I can at all prevent it.

Please let me know if I am mistaken about what I thought had occurred or if this is possible how would one make it so?
