i'm working on a spreadsheet which I hope will make my life a million times easier.
Basically i have a list of holiday requests from employees. which i need to summarise in a master sheet. the requests have in them... first date of hoiday, last date of holiday, total holiday days and total holiday hours (among others).

i need the master sheet to show for each month how many hours they've booked off and how many days they've booked off. the problem i'm having is where a holiday request spans over two months - i need to split it out.
