    Number of occurences

I have some words that I want excel to repeat a certain number of times that I specify. I want the words to be placed in a column, so that they're all next to each other, as I've shown in the attachment. Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks, kc

Keep in mind that I may have hundreds of words in column B along with corresponding numbers in column C. Just to keep the explanation simple, I've used only three words in my example: apples, oranges, and bananas.

I have added a column A that shows what line number to start each name at.
Then i use the ROW() function in combination with LOOKUP to find the correct name to display.

In column G, I show you how to modify the formula if you start at another row thann row 1.
