    Shortening array formula

I have an array formula as follows:
Please Login or Register to view this content.
which of course is situated in the cells B139:B155. It looks in another sheet called Data in col AG, and counts the number of incidents that fits with the bin-values in A139 to A155.
If I want to increase to A139:A170 it is no problem - just mark up the new area and press F2 followed by CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER and that's it, but I need to shorten it so that it only goes from row 139 to 150, and that is possible only by typing the formula anew from scratch and insert it in the new shorter span of rows. I have come to think that this cannot be right; it must be possible also to shorten an array formula in a simple way and not only increase it.
    Anyone knows how?

    Have you tried Dynamic Ranges?

That could of course be a solution, but not what I look for. It ought to be possible just to mark up the redundant cells and press DEL or something similarly easy
