    sum a range of cells that meet one criteria

    Hi, I'm trying to sum a range of cells that meet one criteria, thought SUMIF would do this? Please see a simplified attached file, February should total 15?

    This should be relatively easy I know??

    sum a range of cells that meet one criteria

    Using your posted example:

    Try this:
    F2: =SUMPRODUCT(($A$2:$A$14=E2)*$B$2:$C$14)
    Copy that formula down through F13

    Does that help?
