    Weird birthdate equation!!!

    This is my scenario.

    I need to calculate two peoples birthdates.

    i am currently useing the equation

    =INT((K2-C2)/365.25)

    k2 being their benefit commencement (BCD) date. c2, being their date of birth.

    The bcd will always be at the first of the month.
    but how do i calculate the persons birthday as if their birthday was on the first of the month, and not when it really is?

    example
    BCD= 3/1/2007
    their birthdate is 3/5/2000

    currently, the equation would tell me that they would be 6 because their birthdate is after the bcd.

    I need it to display that their age is 7 though, because if their birthdate falls in between the month of their bcd, then we just give them the extra year.

    Thanks!!!

    Weird birthdate equation!!!

    See Chip Pearson's coverage of Excel's DATEDIF function:

    Does that help?
