I want to import my iTunes media library as a tab-delimited text file and then add further information about each recording to my worksheet. Simple enough.
The problem comes when I refresh the external data and the iTunes text file contains new rows (ie. new songs). The extra info I've added stays where it is so everything below the new row is in the wrong place.
I would have thought that checking the option 'insert entire rows for new data, clear unused cells' under data/connections/properties would take care of this for me but it doesn't seem to.
What am I doing wrong?
