Selection of data on different worksheet

Hi there,

Anyone can give me help me with this issue, I am trying to do a reporting to the management and I was thinking of using the scrollbar so that I can get the result on the same worksheet without having to scroll from one end to the other to look for the result.

Attached the file for easy referencing.

I know that the combination formulae of Index and if function can do but I do not know how to go about to construct the formulae.

Your database sheet does not seem to be built in a very systematic way, which will make your search more difficult ...

For the time being, I would suggest to determine the column no since the row is determined by the accounting element, as an example :

After input the formula as mentioned, what should I do next.

Actually when there is one selection, for instance, by month, I am able to construct the formula but when I need to add in another selection by year, then I have a problem.

Any suggestion.
