After reading the two links, I looked for a VBA property and found I could use

Occassionally a Month-to-Date or YTD adjustment is entered over the running weighted averages for out percent solids (or whatever) and if this happens to be the case our next calculation will "know" this by referenceing through the above UDF and will calculate based on the adjusted MTD or YTD number rather than on the original daily units.
I have also set up a conditional format using this function to flag when one of the adjustments is made to the spreadsheet by manually entering a value.
Conditional Formatting formula iswhere A2 happens to be the cell to highlight in this case. By selecting that cell and then highlighting the remaining spreadsheet, going through the Conditional formatting process again all cells are now set as long as the relative cell address is used and not the absolute...![]()
