Excel 2007

I am using excel 2007 and am stumped as to why I can not count rows by highlighting them and dragging down. In 2003 it had a little box that showed up as you drug that counted how many rows you had highlighted. Can anyone tell me how to turn this feature on in 2007? Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello

Right-Click on the status bar using your mouse from within Microsoft Excel, you will see and can control what indictors appear on the status bar by configuring it. You will see a huge list of options which appear and you can turn on the ones that you want to appear.
