calculating days between years

Hi,
I'm only new to excel and have totally confused myself.Im trying to calculated the days between a persons birth date and the current date.To get the current date I used the =NOW() function but it also gives me the time which i don't wont.This is what i am trying to achieve:

name birth date current date age (days) age (years)

john 12/11/1980 8/9/2007 ??? ???

assume 1 year = 365.25 days

any help would be appreciated

That was exactly what I was after.Strange that it was not listed under the insert function menu.. Thanks very much
