    Nth root question

    Please help with the Nth root when is 0.5

    Is this formula correct

    X^(0.5) or should it be x^(2/1) if you take the 3rd root as x^(1/3)

    I believe the "half" root of something is it's square.

    Square root is x^(1/2). Cube root is x^(1/3). So "half" root would be x^(1/(1/2)), or simplified, x^2.
