    Automatic Sorting Alphabetically in an Array

    Hello,

    I am trying to create a formula to automatically sort a column by alphabetical order. For example column A contains names (which may contain blank values i.e. Alvin in cell A1 then blank in cell A2 and then Aaron in cell A3). I wish to create an array in column B that would automotically alphabetize ascending column A while eliminating blank cells in column A.

    Any advice on how to do this? Thanks in advance.

    Try

    =INDEX($A$1:$A$10,MATCH(SMALL(COUNTIF($A$1:$A$10,"<"&$A$1:$A$10),ROW()-ROW($B$1)+1),COUNTIF($A$1:$A$10,"<"&$A$1:$A$10),0))

    Enter with Ctrl + Alt + enter
