auto complete within a drop down list

(Excel 2007)

I have created a cell which is linked to a very long list using Data Validation. I would like the list to self-adjust as the user begins to type data into the cell (ex. if the first letter typed is "b" - the list moves to "b", "be" moves to "be"... and so forth)

This capability can be found in the Combo Box Tool in Visual Basic; and it would be very handy for finding data within a long list.

Any and all ideas would be welcome...
