For example, in a column:
A08932
A04708
412968HBPRI
135019PRIV
135019DAYS
Is there a formula which can return only numeric characters and exclude the alpha characters.
Thanks heaps

You will probable need to use a UDF,
here is a good example

an other way without any formula. (little bit manual)Originally Posted by will.00
copy your original data to a new column and select that new column.
press Ctrl+H
in Find what: type A and press Replace All (leave Replace with blank)
then again type B and press Replace All
type C and press Replace All
and so on... for all 26 English letters.
(it will take not more than a minute)
