Fixed title row

In an excel worksheet, can I set the title row (Headers at A1) to remain unchanged as a sort data?

Example: an Excel mailing list, row A1 has headings First Name, Last Name, Address....etc. I want that row to stay at A1 even as I sort data based on name, address etc.

I don't even know what to call this function.

Please help.

how are you sorting?
Data > Sort ?
at the bottom is a checkbox for my list has header row

Sorting itself isn't a "function"
