I can't find the vertical bar (|) on my keyboard to enter into the other character box. It won't let me copy & paste into the other character box either.
On my keyboardthe | is just above the enter key. On the same key as \
On some keyboards it is shown as 2 small verticle lines one above the other
You can use
Ctrl & C to copy
Ctrl & X to cut
Ctrl & V to paste
