I need help. I have a spreadsheet where in column A I have lawsuit numbers. Some of the numbers are repeated several times. In column B I have dates. Not all the cells in column B are filled in. I am trying to figure out if there is a way where I can do vlookup for the dates instead of doing each one separate.
Example
A1 is case #111 B1 is 1999
A2 is case #111 B2 is blank
A3 is case #200 B3 is 2004
A4 is case #200 B4 is blank
A5 is case #200 B5 is blank
A6 is case #300 B6 is 1999
I have all the case numbers and the dates on another page in my workbook where they (the case numbers) are only listed once.
Is there anything I can do to make this much easier on me?
