    Pounds and Pence

    Please help - how would I format numbers so that if they are £1 or greater the value is displayed in pounds, e.g. £2.73, but if less than £1 it will display them in pence, e.g. 75p.

    Try using custom formats.

    Select column then right click > Formats > Custom and enter

    [>=1]£#,##0.00;[<1]#,##0.00"p";General
