Eliminate the formula referral of a cell content

    Eliminate the formula referral of a cell content

    I have to make the content of a cell get rid of the formula connection and make it a "normal" number.
    I copy the content into another file with Paste Special - value, but still the formula referral is preserved.
    Kindly ask for any ideas how to handle it.
