    Question Autofilters on protected worksheet

    Hi Folks,
I have a spreadsheet that others need to look up data on so I need to have it protected. If I have the sheet protection turned on the drop down for the autofilters don't work. Why? Is there a way to use both?

When you protected the sheet, did you tick to allow Autofilter?

Not sure what you mean... under tools/protection - "protect sheet" there are 3 cheeck boxes, for contents. for ofjects. for senerios. Password is optional. I'm using a version that was included in Microsoft Office 2000.
