Read from file

Hi, I was wondering if you can read from another file in Excel. Say I have a cell in A.xls and another file called B.xls. I want the cell in A.xls to read from a cell in B.xls. Is this possible. And if so, how do I do this. Thanks

Open A.xls and B.xls in a cell in A type= and click onthe cell you wish to refer to in B then click ok

Save A and B

You may be asked to update links when you subsequently open a file, in case the other file has changed. but that is all there is to it!
