Text in formula bar is red

A co-worker accidentally turned the text red in the formula bar and she can't
find a way to change it back to black. Closing out and rebooting did not
change this.
Suggestions?

Perhaps this:

1. My Computer > Control Panel > Display > Appearance tab
2. In the Item dropdown select Window
3. Select black from the colour palette adjacent the Font dropdown
