Is there any way in Excel to get a formula to covert to a value after the
first time it calculates? I have a column that calcuates whether or not a
budget has been overspent after each bill is paid against it:
=if(b22<0,"YES","NO"). For the sake of historical data it would be very
helpful for me to keep a running record of the total remainder one each bill
line. Instead, as soon as one bill overspends the budget, the entire column
changes to "NO." Any suggestions on a way to make cells hold their initially
calculated value and/or a better way to design this? Thanks.
