    Question Help with TREND function

    Hi all,

I was hoping someone could offer some help or advice with some data analysis I am conducting.

I have a fixed range of data - let's say B1:C5. The range contains the known X and Y values for a trend. Range A1:A5 contains dates.

Currently, some of the cells contain 0, either because data does not exist for that day (historically) - or because it is not yet available (yet to occur).

    eg.

    01/03/06 4134 27
    04/03/06 0 0
    18/07/06 5122 33
    19/08/06 0 0
    20/08/06 0 0

I want to calculate trends on this data - excluding zero values or blank cells from the range.

Bearing in mind, as more values become available, the trend value will change - which is why I need it to calculate the trend based on cells in the range that contain a value.

Can anyone offer any advice or assistance as to how this can be done?

    Cheers

    Rob
