    Improving use of Worksheets

When developing complex plans, it would be nice to have a "clone" menu
selection for worksheets so that once a worksheet that will be use in the
same form several times does not have to be re-entered each time it is
needed. I use excel to put together quick, informal plans which pretty much
use the same headings and calculations throughout. I might have 5 workbooks
in this plan, each exactly the same except for the variations I make in the
way the tasks are defined. So far, the only way I know is to re-enter the
worksheet 5 times, which is pretty tedious. If there is a better way already
    in place, I'm all ears.

    Re: Improving use of Worksheets

Create one worksheet that's laid out exactly the way you want.

Then hit and hold the ctrl-key when you click and drag the worksheet to the
right. This makes an exact copy of that first worksheet. Repeat as necessary.

Rightclick on any tab and choose rename to rename it.

If you find that you want to make exact changes to all of the sheets after
you've copied, you can group them first.

Click on the first worksheet tab and ctrl-click on subsequent.
    Make your changes.
and rightclick on any of the grouped worksheets and select ungroup sheets.

Almost any change you make to a worksheet that's included in a group, you make
to the others in that group.

    So be careful.

    Hi

Another way: right-click on sheet's tab, and select 'Move or copy ...' from
drop-down. Now you can estimate, is the sheet moved or copied (check/uncheck
'Create a copy'), is the sheet moved/copied to new position in same
workbook, or to another currently opened workbook, and the position in
target workbook where the copy is created.
