I'm looking for a function that will let me convert a long list of Excel
dates into their Hijri equivalents. I understand that the latest
versions of Excel will do this, but:

# I want this to work with earlier versions of Excel

# I want the output to be in Roman, not Arabic, script

The format that would be ideal for me would be similar to that found in
the Fourmilab calendar converter:

http://www.fourmilab.ch/documents/calendar/

So that a date shown as

Thursday, 15 December 2005

in Excel's "dddd, dd mmmm yyyy" format would be shown as

yawm al-khamis, 14 Dhu'l-Qada 1426

in the Hijri conversion. Obviously I can't type in each date and write
down each converted version!
