    Permanant button for macro

    Hi all

I have a macro which i need to use numbers of times thoughout the year so want to create a button in excel that when clicked plays the macro.
The problem is i want the button to be avalible all the time at the top of the screen(on the toolbars below file/edit etc) for any excel file i open.

    Is this possible?

    Many thx

right click on any toolbar and select "Customize". In the box that opens, scroll the left side and click on "macro". Click and drag the smiley face icon from the right hand side to your desired location on any tool bar and drop it there. Now, right click on the smiley face and choose "assign macro" and follow the prompts. Further, you can again right click and choose Edit button image or Change... again follow the prompts.

    Good Luck
