need formual to copy entire row

Hi,

I need a formula that will allow the following:

In workbook 1 if column A contains a certain name then i need it to copy the entire row onto another workbook.
There would be multiple rows with the same name so i need it to copy all of them.

Any help or advise would be a great help.

Hi FIF001,

Welcome to the forum.

I believe this question can't be handled with formulas only and it should be in Excel programming section unless you have those " certain names" in another workbook as well and then you can fetch their respective rows using some nice array combination of Index/ match . thanks.
