I wish to keep the columns at a fixed visible width Dave. It will make my
task much easier for the non-specialist with PC's and certainly with Excel.

I actually meant the zoom icon on the standard toolbar (or View|Zoom from the
menubar).

Ahhh.
But even if you change the zoom, you can't see all the text.

The font used by Excel in the drop-downs is a system font and only scalable as a function of zoom (As has been suggested elsewhere) The only way to enlarge this font is with the Zoom facility - furthermore you can't change the colour etc etc. Pain in the ***, but there you are.
At least someone could answer this one. Shame that Microsoft could not.
